Hello, I am hosting this week at Just Us Girls and it’s Word Week and today happens to be World Card Making day! I hope you find sometime to be creative. I don’t know about you, but I am getting to that age where I am in constant need of Sympathy cards and that is why I chose this word for our challenge. I would also like to give a quick shout out to our new guest this month over at JUGS. Please help me in welcoming Linda Snodgrass from Lin’s Craft Corner for the month of October! Linda and I have had the opportunity to meet on two separate occasions, and I am happy to call her my blogging and card making friend. I hope you will go by her blog and leave her some love.
I hope you join us this week at JUGS too! Nanc’

Yes, it is 2;30 am an I am up and in need of a sympathy card too. Your rose is simply gorgeous and I am going to save this for future use. Seems like I can’t keep any on supply.

Gorgeous sympathy card, Nancy. I tend to shy away from making these types of cards because I never feel I get it ‘right’, be that my selection of images, or palette or sentiment. This was a challenge for me, but glad I stayed the course, realizing that it’s not so much about ‘the card’ but the compassion and love that goes into creating it…

Beautiful card, Nancy and I think it is the number one card I make and sell! I will have to play along because I am always in need of those cards, sadly! Hope you are getting some pain relief! Have a good weekend!

Beautiful watercoloring! I love how soft the colors are in your flower and leaves. Great challenge this week! Certainly cards we all need but dislike making.
