Hello, Fancy Folds is our Challenge for Wild Card Week at Just Us Girls. Ina is our hostess and she was the wise woman that selected our challenge this week. A challenge is good for all of us…especially this girl! I can’t take credit for the original design of this card you will find it HERE!
The fold itself is very simple and Joy has much better photos and explanations than you would ever get from me. Sorry folks, but just keeping it real. Way too much time goes into that! My card has such a mix of stamps sets. It’s a bit of MFT and Stampin up. The EF is from Cuttlebug. I colored my little bird with colored pencil…badly it appears. I thought it looked better than that in real life, but the card is gone so I can’t check. LOL I have been selling so many cards at one of the local gift stores in town that I rarely have any on hand for very long. It’s a good problem for sure. It feeds my addiction at least!

This looks like a lot of work but it turned out amazingly gorgeous. Love the layers of color and the way you popped out the blue bird on the fun branch of flowers.

What a beautiful creation. I love the colors you chose, and that sweet little bird on the branch is so stinkin’ cute. I also love the texture you created with that embossing folder. This is simply FABULOUS, and a great take on the challenge.

This is beautiful! I’m impressed with the fancy fold. I think the only fancy fold I have done is the gate fold. Beautiful colors too!

That is a great card, Nancy. I love the embossing and the colors and that cute little bird looks great to me. It’s much more complicated than my card for sure. Congrats on selling your cards. My daughter says I should do the same but I wouldn’t know what to charge or who would be interested.

This is beautiful and such a stunning fancy fold! I love the images and colors and the way you stamped the inside sentiment over the cascading flowers, too. Way to nail this challenge!
