Color my world with family, friends and some time to be creative making cards!

Miss You

Hi,  Here I am back with another post for Just Us Girls.  I don’t know about you but it feels kinda strange writing a post and acting like things are fine.  However, here I am once more!

Today’s card is a nice mix of lots of things, The polka-dotted and green paper is actually DP but the piece in between was sponged using a stencil. The flowers stamp and vases are a mix of SU and Gina K., and the flower die is MFT.

Before I go I would like to say thanks to Vicky Hayes for being such an amazing guest with us this month!

Please, if you are crafting (and your mojo isn’t gone) and you don’t know what else to do with yourself, consider joining us this week at JUGS!

Stay safe and happy creating, Nanc’

  1. I love your pretty bouquets. Wonderful card.

  2. I know things are most definitely not – but I truly believe that crafting is a way to keep calm in the face of this horrible crisis. I hope it’s giving you some comfort Nancy – it definitely has me 🙂
I love your bright tulips in their vases and with those bright background papers. It will cheer someone up I’m sure!
Thanks so much for having me along as your guest this month – you’ve all been so welcoming and kind 🙂

  3. Cute card!

  4. Such sweet vases of flowers, Nancy! I’d love to have those pretty blooms in real life to brighten up my house. The background papers/stenciling set them off perfectly.
Yes, the confusion and uncertainty continue; hopefully, we’ll have some ‘good’ news at some point. Soon would be nice! I’m finding crafting a ‘distraction’, but like you, my mojo is flagging. Things aren’t ‘normal’ and I fully understand how difficult it is to try to ‘act’ as though it is. Sending you virtual hugs…and do what you need to keep positive!

  5. Such a sweet missing you card! I love your little vases of flowers and the mix of backgrounds. I am sure you are missing and worried about your son out on the west coast, I know I am worried about mine on the east coast. Praying that our families all come through this nightmare. Stay safe.

  6. The stenciled panel works well with your patterned paper, Nancy. I love those bright and happy vases of flowers.

  7. So sweet and colourful Nancy. Love the layout with those pretty flowers.

  8. Pretty images and mix of patterns. This is a tough time, but at least we have our crafting to keep our minds busy. Take care.
